What is NAMI?
NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has become the nation's voice on mental illness, a national organization including NAMI organizations in every state and in over 1100 local communities across the country who join together to meet the NAMI mission through advocacy, research, support, and education.
NAMI of Kalamazoo, MI - is a non-profit self-help and advocacy group. We serve Kalamazoo and the surrounding counties including Calhoun, Allegan, St. Joe, and Cass.
What Do We Do at NAMI-Kalamazoo?
NAMI members provide support, education, and advocacy for consumers, their friends, and their families during all phases of their mental illness journey.
Meeting Schedule
NAMI of Kalamazoo now holds 1 meeting each month for members, friends and advocates to attend. This is the Board meeting, which is held on the first Thursday of most every month. All meetings listed are held at Pathways located at 119 West Vine St. (map). The meetings start at 6:30 pm.
Every Wednesday, Schizophrenics Anonymous, Open to Public; 6:00 pm
